Furgonetka, Apaczka or BaseLinker? How to Ship from Shopify in Poland (2026)

Running a Shopify store and want to offer your customers InPost Paczkomat lockers, DPD couriers or Orlen Paczka? Sooner or later you will run into three names: Furgonetka, Apaczka and BaseLinker. Each solves the shipping problem differently β€” with a different cost, different complexity and a different point where its role ends. In this guide we compare all three with a fourth option: a dedicated shipping app installed directly in Shopify.

Three roads to shipping from Shopify

Before comparing specific tools, it helps to understand that they belong to different categories, not just different price points:

  • Shipping brokers (Furgonetka, Apaczka) β€” you buy labels from them one by one, often cheaper than directly from the carrier. Orders must be moved from your store to their panel.
  • Multi-channel integrator (BaseLinker, now Base) β€” a separate panel that connects orders from many channels (Shopify, Allegro, marketplaces), inventory and shipping.
  • A dedicated Shopify shipping app (e.g. Shipdock) β€” works inside the Shopify admin: the customer picks a parcel locker on a map at checkout, and you print labels without logging in anywhere else.

BaseLinker (Base): powerful, but do you need it?

BaseLinker is Poland's most popular multi-channel sales management system. If you sell on Shopify, Allegro, Empik and Amazon at the same time, BaseLinker ties it all into one panel: orders, stock levels, invoices, printouts and automations.

Pricing: plans start at 79 PLN net per month (up to 500 orders), then 149 PLN (1,500 orders), 249 PLN (5,000 orders), up to 499 PLN per month with no order limit. Add to that the time needed to set up and maintain a separate system.

Pros:

  • One panel for many sales channels β€” invaluable with Allegro and marketplaces
  • Extensive automations (statuses, printouts, bulk actions)
  • Integrations with virtually every carrier and broker in Poland

Cons:

  • Another system to learn and pay for β€” on top of your Shopify subscription
  • You handle orders outside Shopify, which complicates your team's workflow
  • Letting the customer pick a parcel locker in Shopify checkout still requires a separate solution

Best for: multi-channel stores with high volume, where Shopify is just one of many channels. If you sell mainly through Shopify, BaseLinker can be overkill.

Furgonetka: cheap labels, manual work

Furgonetka is a shipping broker β€” a price comparison site and a label wholesaler in one. You pay per shipment according to the broker's price list, often less than the carrier's retail price, with no subscription.

Pros:

  • Low label prices without carrier contracts
  • Wide carrier choice: InPost, DPD, DHL, GLS, UPS, Orlen Paczka
  • No fixed costs β€” you pay for what you ship

Cons:

  • Shopify integration is limited β€” in practice orders are often moved manually or via BaseLinker
  • The customer does not pick a parcel locker on a map in your store's checkout
  • Tracking and statuses do not flow back to Shopify automatically

Best for: low volume (a few to a dozen parcels a week), where the price of a single label matters more than handling time.

Apaczka: a broker for businesses

Apaczka works much like Furgonetka β€” you buy labels from a broker. It targets businesses more directly: it offers an account manager, consolidated invoices and integration modules. As with Furgonetka, the simplest integration path to Shopify leads through BaseLinker β€” that is, through yet another system and another subscription.

Pros: business pricing, multiple carriers, account manager support.
Cons: the same as any broker β€” shipping happens outside Shopify, and pickup point selection at checkout requires extra tools.

A dedicated shipping app: everything inside Shopify

The fourth road is an app installed directly from the Shopify App Store β€” such as Shipdock. The philosophy is the opposite of brokers and integrators: instead of moving orders to an external system, shipping happens where you already work β€” in the Shopify admin.

  • Customers pick a Paczkomat on a map β€” an InPost, DPD, GLS, Orlen Paczka or Packeta widget directly in the purchase flow
  • Labels in one click β€” individually or in bulk, with no address rewriting
  • Cash on delivery (COD) β€” the COD amount is passed to the carrier automatically
  • Tracking β€” shipment numbers flow back to the order and to the customer
  • Your own carrier contracts β€” you use your own accounts (e.g. InPost ShipX), so you keep the rates you negotiated

A practical decision guide

  • Selling on Allegro and several channels at once? BaseLinker makes sense β€” and you can still handle Shopify shipping with an app, so customers pick a locker at checkout.
  • Shipping a few parcels a week and counting every penny? A broker (Furgonetka/Apaczka) is enough β€” until moving orders by hand starts to hurt.
  • Is Shopify your main channel? A dedicated app gives you lockers at checkout, labels and tracking without an extra system β€” usually for a fraction of BaseLinker's price.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use BaseLinker and a shipping app at the same time?

Yes. Many stores use BaseLinker for Allegro and marketplaces, and handle Shopify orders with an app β€” mainly so the customer can pick a parcel locker on a map at checkout.

Is a broker cheaper than my own InPost contract?

At low volume, usually yes. At higher volume your own contract (e.g. InPost ShipX) often wins β€” and then the broker is no longer needed.

Can customers pick a Paczkomat in Shopify checkout without extra tools?

No β€” Shopify has no built-in parcel locker map. You need an app with a pickup point widget, such as Shipdock.

What about cash on delivery (COD)?

Brokers handle COD in their own panels. A shipping app passes the COD amount to the carrier automatically based on the Shopify order β€” no rewriting.

Summary

There is no single right answer β€” but there is a simple rule: the more Shopify is the centre of your sales, the fewer external systems you need. Brokers win on single-label price, BaseLinker wins with many channels, and a dedicated app wins on time and simplicity when Shopify is what matters.
